Spencer Is Hurt Again

So Spencer was playing hockey last night and he broke his ankle. I wasn't there, I was at my house getting ready to go to Mardi Gras at USU. We were going to go at about 11 pm and so I was at my house painting my nails and getting ready. I get a call at 10:20 pm from Spencer and he tells me that he thinks he might have broken his ankle.

Apparently he had the puck and was going to go around the goal post. His skates slipped out from under him and he slammed feet first into the boards. He looked down and saw his foot and skate turned to the side, not facing forward like it is supposed to be. He had a split second thought wondering why his foot and skate were sideways when the skate is supposed to keep the ankle and foot going straight ahead. He then freaked out and slammed his foot on the ice to straighten his foot back out. Fellow hockey players, Tomi and Tanner, saw Spencer's foot and said they almost threw up loking at Spencer's foot.

His foot was pretty nasty looking, I thought it is absolutely disgusting looking. Here are the pictures.
Gross!
Nasty!

You're The Greatest
Three Hearts

This Valentine's Day, Spencer got me a bear that sings "Hey There Delilah" by: Plain White T's and the bear has a rose that twirls around and says "I love you", has three hearts that show up, and says "You're the Greatest". He also got me two dozen roses, a box of chocolates, and a big stuffed dog. The roses are absolutely beautiful and I loved them.

No, I never saw Star Wars.

3. The lies I've told! The lives I've ruined! Wait...this isn't helping me!

5. Why so serious?

6. Cody's around here somewhere, I can feel it in my nuggets!

7. Voice confirmation required.

Accepted.

8. Saw the whole thing, dude. First, you were all like "Whoa", and we were like "Whoa", and you were like "Whoa..."

9. A real magician tries to invent something new, that other magicians are gonna scratch their heads over.

10. By putting this on, you have started a chain reaction that could bring about the next apocalypse.
You, lighten up.
You, big trouble.
You, get in the car.

I will put up the answers next week so you have time to look at this and figure it out. :)

Interesting Fact

So last night I had to go to a play for my Arts Symposium class. The play was called "Assassins" and it was all about the assassinations and attempted assassinations on the presidents of the United States.

I found out that there were 9 assassinations and attempts in our history. The first is John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Abraham Lincoln. The next person was Charles Guiteau. He shot President Garfield twice in the back. Then there is Leon Czolgosz. He shot President McKinley point-blank. Guiseppe Zangara tried to kill President Franklin Delano Roosevelt but missed because he was so short and accidentally killed Mayor Anton Cermak. Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy.

Samuel Byck tried to kill President Nixon. He was going to hijack a 747 and crash it into the White House, he successfully killed the co-pilot, wound the pilot, and get himself killed. Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme was Charles Manson's lover and tried to kill President Gerald Ford as a way to get Charles Manson back in the news. She was crazy enough to think that Manson was the Messiah. Sara Jane Moore also tried to assassinate President Ford. She tried unsuccessfully 17 days after Lynette. The last assassination attempt was John W. Hinckley, Jr. He tried to kill President Reagan to prove his love to Jodie Foster.

Now all of these assassination attempts are before any of the attempts that have been made on President Obama. There have already been 2-3 attempts on Obama's life I think. Definitely gives you something to think about doesn't it.

I HATE YOU, CAR!!!

Ok, so I officially HATE my car. I took my car in yesterday to see what the problem was with it. It has been having a lot of white smoke coming from the tail pipe and having problems running. When the guy called back to give me the diagnosis, I just thought, "Crap!". There are four cylinders in my car and one of the cylinders, or the piston in the cylinder, was either cracked or it was missing the rings at the top of the cylinder. So he said I would have until this summer to get a new car before my car died on me.

Well he was wrong.

My car died today, it committed suicide in my opinion. I am trying to leave Spencer's apartment complex and I get to the entryway/driveway to the parking lot and it dies. I'm sitting there trying to get it started again and it just won't start for me. I call Spencer, who was about to take a nap, and tell him, so he walks over. While I am waiting for him, I still try to get my car started, not happening. He gets over, tries to start and the battery has died on me. So he went to get his Jeep so he could jump me. While I am waiting for him, I pop my hood and get my jumper cables. The garbage man for Spencer's complex comes over and asks if I need help.

The funny part about this is that when my car first died, the garbage man had gone into the copmlex to get the garbage. When it came time to try and jump my car, he was getting ready to leave. He looks under my hood and tries to see if he could help, although he couldn't do anything because my car was beyond normal repair. Spencer comes over, hooks up to my car, and tries to get it to start and my car refuses to cooperate, even with the Jeep giving it juice. So Spencer and the garbage man pushes my car back over to the front of Spencer's building.

So I am without a car until I can get a new one. I'll keep you updated.

Prophecy by: Elizabeth Haydon (2nd in series)

Another awesome book! I definitely recommend this series to everyone. Elizabeth Haydon rivals Terry Goodkind in her storytelling.

In Rhapsody, a fellowship was forged--three companions who, through great adversity, became a force to be reckoned with: Rhapsody the Singer; Achmed the assassin-king; and Grunthor, the giant Sergeant-Major. Prophecy continues their powerful epic. Driven by a prophetic vision, Rhapsody races to rescue a religious leader while Achmed and Grunthor seek the F'dor--an ancient and pwoerful demon. These companions may be destined to fulfill The Prophecy of the Three, but their time is running short. They must find their elusive enemy before his darkness consumes them all.
