Hike to Wind Caves and more...

This is my Connections class and Bert's Wife's class.

This is looking up through the hole in the cave.

Well yesterday for class, we got to go and hike up to the Wind Caves in the Logan Canyon. They were absolutely beautiful!!! I hiked up in a pair of sneakers that I haven't worn in like 1 1/2-2 years, and they rubbed the skin off of my right heel and made me bleed, but that wasn't bad, I've had worse. We got back to campus and did regular class stuff, but my teacher Bert Sainsbury is anything but regular. We had some fun and did out-of-the ordinary assignments to make it fun. After school, I took the bus to Borders to redeem a coupon for 20% on a book. I missed the bus to the transit center and decided that I didn't want to wait 30 min. for the bus. So I started walking, a good idea in the beginning, but after 30-45 min. of walking, I was not doing good. My other shoe had rubbed the skin off of my left heel and it started to hurt really really bad! I got to about 100 W Center St when I finally saw a bus that was going to the transit center so I could get on the bus that takes me home. I was so relieved because with where I was, I still had a good 30-45 min. walk ahead of me. When I got back home, I took all of my stuff off, put it downstairs, and went over to Kady's house (Keely's sister lives 2 houses down) for the book club meeting. I was really hurting as I walked over there and my shoulders cramped up so bad that I could barely move. I finally took some Tylenol to help relax my muscles. That night, Keely, her sisters, her kids, and I went to the Box Elder County (I think) to the fair over there and had dinner and went on the Carousel (I had to look up the spelling for that).
